Cheating is a Choice

In our world of infidelity we hear the betrayer minimize their actions by calling the affair a mistake. Mine called it a infraction. What?

Considering the devastation this choice caused it is so much more than that. These are the kinds of things they say because they can't actually take accountability for the affair. They have to minimize it and demonize you and the marriage. This is a tactic they use so they don't have to feel the weight of what they have done. They don't want to look bad.

This is also a way for them to get pity

and play the victim. Ohh it was a mistake. I never meant for this to happen. Really!! Always know they made the choice day after day to cheat. Choosing to break their vows and covenant. The whole time not thinking about you or your children. We all have choices and affairs are just that.

You have choices too. Choose to take back your power. Choose to write a new story. Choose to give God the pen and write it together. Choose to speak truth.
